4. YouTube API Services and Google Data
The App uses YouTube API Services. By using the App, the user agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Users of YouTube features must also comply with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Developer Policies, and the Google Privacy Policy.
In addition to this Privacy Policy, this App refers users to the Google Privacy Policy available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Data obtained from YouTube API Services is used to provide the App's live-stream support features. The App does not sell data obtained from YouTube API Services.
The App's use and transfer of Google user data to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, and is limited to providing, maintaining, and improving user-facing features. The App does not use Google user data for serving advertisements, retargeting, credit or lending decisions, data brokering, selling data, or training generalized AI models.
Users can revoke the access granted to the App or its OAuth client at any time from the Google Account "Connections" page at https://myaccount.google.com/connections?filters=3,4.

5. Storage Location and Retention
The App's settings, credentials, local database, asset references, logs, and similar data are stored, as a rule, within the application data area on the user's own device.
For the App and for local display in OBS browser sources (overlays), the App may store or read information in local storage (cookies or similar technologies) on the user's device or browser to retain display state, settings, and themes.
Such data is retained until the user deletes it within the App, logs out, resets, deletes assets, or deletes the application data on the device. Information sent to external services is managed in accordance with the terms and privacy policies of those external services.
6. Storage, Access, and Collection of Information on Users' Devices (Cookies and Similar Technologies)
The App (the API Client) and the Provider's official website (castdeck.studio) store, access, and collect information directly or indirectly on or from users' devices and browsers in order to provide features and improve the site. This includes placing, accessing, and recognizing cookies or similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on users' devices or browsers. Specifically:
- The App: stores and accesses settings, credentials, API Data, the local database, and logs in the application data area on the user's device
- OBS browser-source overlays: store and read display state, settings, and themes in browser local storage (a technology similar to cookies)
- Official website: stores page views, referrers, UTM parameters, and interaction events such as clicks in browser local storage to measure site usage
- The Provider does not allow third parties to place cookies or similar technologies on users' devices or browsers, or to collect information from users' devices, through the App or the official website
7. Sharing and External Transmission
To the extent necessary to provide features, the App may transmit information to external services that the user has configured or selected. The recipients and purposes are as follows.
- YouTube/Google: for authentication, retrieving broadcast information, retrieving chat, etc.
- BASE: for BASE shop integration, retrieving order information, and showing purchase/gift notifications
- Amazon: wish-list sync sends information from the purchased list to Castdeck on the user's own device via a bookmarklet the user runs in their browser
- AI providers: for generating AI suggestions, the App may send stream status, comment statistics, and information the user enters
- OS-standard speech or in-app speech synthesis: processes the target text for text-to-speech
- OBS or local browser sources: serves the necessary display data locally for overlay display on the user's device
- The App does not sell, lease, share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to third parties for any purpose other than providing the features described above
8. Transmission to AI Providers
When the AI Advisor is used, the App may send the AI provider selected by the user the stream status, comment classification, Super Chat statistics, and contextual information entered by the user that are needed to generate suggestions.
Information sent to an AI provider is handled in accordance with that provider's terms of service and privacy policy. Users should review the information that may be sent before enabling AI features.
9. Security
The App stores settings and data in the OS user-data area. Users should take care in managing their device, OS account, backups, screen sharing, log files, asset folders, and API keys.
Communication with external services such as Google, YouTube, and AI providers takes place over the HTTPS endpoints those services provide. Because information stored on the device depends on the OS account, file permissions, device lock, and backup settings, users should also manage access on their own.
When using the App on a shared PC, a streaming PC, or a device operated by external staff, users should ensure that third parties cannot access stored credentials, API keys, viewer notes, logs, or assets.
10. Access, Deletion, and Revocation
Users can delete some or all stored information by using the App's settings, logging out, deleting assets, deleting notes, resetting, or deleting the application data on the device.
For Google/YouTube integration, users can revoke the App's or the OAuth client's access at any time from the Google Account "Connections" page at https://myaccount.google.com/connections?filters=3,4. After access is revoked, the App can no longer obtain new API Data, and any credentials and API Data already stored on the device can be deleted by logging out / resetting within the App or by deleting the application data on the device.
Users may contact watanabeblue@gmail.com with privacy-related inquiries.
11. Minors
The App is not intended for use by anyone under 13 years of age. If a minor uses the App, please obtain the consent of a parent or other legal guardian.
12. Changes to This Policy
The Provider may revise this Privacy Policy to add features, respond to changes in external service specifications, or comply with laws and policies.
When there is a material change, the App may request the user's renewed consent.
The latest version of this Privacy Policy is published at https://castdeck.studio/privacy. If there is any discrepancy between the text displayed in the App and the published version, the published version prevails.
